Sorry about your car but you as long as you and your girl friend are OK is the most important part. The crash worthiness of the Lexus vehicles and their ability to protect their occupants impresses me.

I haven't ruled it out but I find it hard to buy the same car twice. I might check out the RX350 as the GF probably wants something more 'safe' after what she had just gone through.
He has not confirm 100% he will. He is leaning more to what he believes is more safe for his girlfriend "RX350."

The person who hit you was probably texting on their phone. Had it happen to me and have serious neck injuries 3 buldged discs from it. 24/7 pain that never goes away. A guy hit me at a red light in 2007 doing 50+ and knocked me under a Navigator. My life hasn't been the same since. Glad your ok.

Dang... Hope you two made it out okay... When I totaled my Z3 I walked out of there like superman but a few days later I could barely move haha. Hope you guys are in better condition than I was.

My GF was at a stoplight waiting for the left arrow to turn green. The lady behind her somehow thought the cars were moving and decided not to stop. There were about 2 cars ahead of my IS and they were also stopped. The IS got pushed into the truck in front of it.
I wasn't involved in the accident, only my GF. I came a few minutes later and when I saw that lady, it looked like she was high. Cops didn't say she was under the influence though. Something had to happen to her to not realize that the cars weren't moving though...just doesn't make sense to me.
Yikes. Sorry about your accident, I hope you are getting better now. The lady that caused the accident said she didn't have a phone. In matter of fact, she had to borrow my phone to call her relative to pick her up.

It looks like total to me! Even though it appears like a nasty accident, i'm actually impressed that you and your girlfriend are fine. This is actual proof on how safe our Lexus IS really is! This is my 3rd time seeing a Lexus F Sport package (2011-2012) new car getting into accident. Sad!
