After I brought this car in the shop to see what was up on my some times lit air bag light I found this error code in history. Is there any one with like problem?

Can you share the PM with the rest of us? I'm having the same problem:

1. Popped up for no reason I can see
2. Had a tech with an OBDII reader reset it.
3. For drive home it was fine.
4. Next time car was started (and future times) SRS light (airbag light) turns on

Very annoying, could be unsafe. Help!

 

I just brought my car into the dealer and they diagnosed the same thing. I'm interested in a fix as well, since they said they would charge me $2500 to fix it.

 

Anyone got any insight on this?

 

From what I've read, the issue is either the airbag itself or the main dash wiring harness. Some were able to get this replaced under warranty (which is a good thing). The harness runs $1,400 on Sewell..... and that's not counting the labor to have it installed.

 

Its a faulty harness that which was replaced on mine under cpo warranty.

 

All 2006 2007 Lexus ISSX50 owners should expect to experience this problem. Only chance of a fair outcome is to complain to NHSTA about this long recognized safety issue. (Takes about5-10 minutes.)

 

Just had this problem on my 06. Luckily I purchased extended warranty in 2012 for 5 years. Its paid for it self. First Nav touch was out and now this. Dealer total was $2600.
