How to take the mirror of the side mirror...

hi guys just wondering if anyone knows how to take the mirrors off?
im in the process of wraping my car and now i cant take these off to wrap the inner parts....
little help would be much appreciated...

push the top all the way in then lift from the bottom and pop it off...
