Default tilt mirror install on is350

I have a 2008 is350 and want to install the tilt side mirrors. Has anyone had experience doing this? Is it even possible?
Thanks in advance for feedback!

From what I've seen you can choose from from either KP Technologies or Token Solutions. They both look like the same module to me but just different branding. I was quoted $80 to have them installed by Music Box (Tommy) for one side.

Tilt side mirrors? Like when you reverse and it tilts downward so you can see the curb? I think the LS has this function but I believe they have a dedicated ECU to run this function on that model.

Check into the information that Traxxer provided. Plus Tommy at Music Box always does a great job.

I believe some IS' have this factory-equipped as well. I have the lux package and my mirrors tilt when I back up.

On the factory-equipped cars it is tied in with the memory seat ECU.

it comes with the luxury package or the sport (NOT F-sport) package on US cars.

As Jeff notes functionality is tied into the body ECU (which also does the memory seats, etc) and is why the sport/lux cars have a different one than those without those packages.

I have them with the Lux Pkg, and I'd recommend you don't waste your money. They don't work great. Every few months, they need adjustment because they stop tilting all the way down and/or don't reset to the right place. I complained to the Lex dealer the entire length of my warranty, but they could never "replicate" the issue. Plus, without the memory seats, if they get out of whack, you can't just hit the memory button to get them back to the right place...

If you go from reverse to drive before the mirror has a chance to move all the way down, it will get unsync'd. Similar to if you do the same with the rear sunshade up and i'll stay down if you go into drive before it has a chance to make it all the way down. You just have to be more patient while backing up.

Thanks--but that's not the problem I typically have. Over time, it just doesn't go all the way down. Manually pushing the mirror down, then up, tends to fix it. But I don't like having to do that--I just feel that some day it's going to break completely.
