Thanks for the info!
By any chance you know what type of bulb to use if not doing it in LED?

The bulb is 168 (as per manual). T10 and 194 can be used as well.

does this require the DRL to be disabled in order to get rid of the halogen yellow color?

DRLs are not on when the low beams are on. So if you're looking to get rid of the yellowish lights during the daytime, then yes, you would need to disable DRLs (or replace them with LEDs)

Somehow the DRL is the high beam bulb running on low voltage right? so if i changed the high beam bulb already, I don't have to worry about the yellow-ish light during the day, correct me if I'm wrong

Even if the high beam bulb is a white bulb, running it at DRL voltage will still come out yellowish.

It will still come out yellowish... That's because that connection is for the DRL which provides 50% of the output in DRL mode. You won't have enough power to reach the bulb's color output that you want.

Your other option is to swap a yellow colored bulb in there like what other's have done. This will give a yellow colored light similiar to rally cars. Or switch to LED...

You can also try talking to your dealer if they can disable the DRL for you. If you are one year over , then there is a fee. Note that some dealers will not do this due to legality issue.
