Anzo LED Tail Light Experience

Anzo LED Tail Light Experience
I bought these off Amazon, advertised as Anzo LED Tail Lights, but I am pretty sure they are the same ones sold on ebay, the lenses are labeled Eagle Eyes, so I am not sure what the relationship between Anzo and Eagle Eyes is, but I assume they are the same company...but whatever. After seeing quite a few people on here with issues installing them, connectors not matching up, etc, I was little hesitant, but I took the plunge anyway.
First let me say that I am not happy with the fitment of the lights overall. The left inner light, and right side outer light do not fit correctly (they stick out too far and are not seated correctly when mounted), and I contacted Amazon the get a new set sent to me so hopefully the new set will fit better. Another major issue with the lights was that I had to trim down two mounting bolts on each of the inner lights, because they were about 1/5" too long. I have some pics below showing the difference of mounting bolt length between the stock and Anzo inner lights. After mounting them up there was a huge gap after tightening down the plastic nuts that hold the inner lights to the trunk lid all the way down.
Anzo bolts on left (too long), OEM on right
After trimming the bolts down I had to fight with the damn connectors to get them put on, but after a lot of scratching my head and cussing, finally got them figured out. They are not very good connectors, but do match up with the oem ones, at least on my 2006. The easiest way I found to connect them was just by matching up the colors on the oem wires to the aftermarket adapter harness.
The brown connector seen below for the turn signal bulbs was also very difficult to line up and install for some reason, I think due to the way they molded the plug inside the Anzo tail lights, its not the same shape as the oem one, you will see what I mean if you buy a set...

Overall, I am glad I bought them, but shouldnt have had all the fitment issues, so hopefully the replacement set fixes that. They looks really awesome at night especially, and give the car a much different look during the day too, which I like.
