Just to add on top. The vehice's ECU may need to have this capability as well.
No there is nothing to do folding mirrors with vehicle ecu!

Go to a junkyard and see if they have the auto-fold mirrors.

FYI. The reverse tilt goes through the ECU and the autofold goes straight to a switch (no ECU needed) in the IS. With the LS, it goes through a separate ECU to handle these functions. Not sure about the GS though....

Have a blast in Japan! I'm jealous.... and take plenty of pics.

you can order them from Lexus Japan dealers. it's also based on the option packages you have as the part numbers will vary according to model years.

Would I not be able to get those over here since I think the newer years have that factory if I'm not mistaken.
