Default New 2012 IS 350 F-sport owner :)

Hey guys I just wanted to thank the people who helped me out these past couple of days in deciding to get a 350. I'm happy with the decision I made and I absolutely love the car! I actually got the car this past thursday and I'm still in shock that I got a Lexus lol. Thanks for the help guys!

My one and only mod I'm probably going to do is tint. I live in the New Orleans area and I'm trying to find a place that does a good job at window tinting. I've heard of a few places good and bad. I'm OCD when it comes to people handling my car as many of you are too. So I'm trying to find the best place and has the best experience so if any of you are from the New Orleans area and have any recommendations that will be greatly appreciated!
I used to have 15% tint on my truck, but idk if I want that anymore. I do like it dark (not to mention it helps with the sun since I live in the south where it gets really hot), but I got away with a few tickets. I don't think I want to take that risk anymore. I'm still undecided whether to go with 15 or 35. I know 35% looks really light so idk if it's even worth it to get 35, but since I have black interior it'll look a little darker. Any recommendations? Thanks guys

Damn another new member with a SFP F-Sport! Nice!!! Definitely a beauty

I personally have 20% tint (SFP w/black interior) and love it. 35% does look good too...its mostly personal preference in the end. I wanted a darker tint then 35% and 5% was too dark.

Anyways, Congrats and welcome to CL!

I did 20 on my rear windshield and 35 on the sides. The darker rear lets in less light making the sides appear darker. I didn't want to do my rear side windows darker than the fronts cuz I hate that look.

congrats on the new car and welcome to the club. i have 35% all around but i would do 20% all around if i was given a second chance. 35% is too light, but still provide sufficient protection against the sun rays

Congrats on your new ride. It's a beautiful car and fasssst too. Any plans to mod it. Some springs or coilovers will go a long way.

I'd go 20 on the rear windshield and 35 on the rest... That's what I did and black interior definitely makes it look darker.

Beautiful car! If you dont want any trouble with the cops (not sure what the tint laws are in your state) but I would do 15% all around. I personally have 5% (except on the front windshield) tint and love it! Def not for everyone tho.

Thanks for kind word guys and thanks for the advice with tint! I'm still undecided, but I'm pushing towards 20%. I'm getting the F-sport exhaust done (which was free ) and the F-sport CAI. All the mods I'm probably just going to do cause I love the car the way it is stock!
