Wrong many like myself have done it. Both my summer and winter set up is staggered. As long as the rolling diameter is close to stock then you wont have any issues Here is the mother thread on awd staggered set ups https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...er-thread.html

Default hey guys!

I have an '06 IS250, stock suspension setup right now.
I know I want to lower in the future with coilovers, but want to make sure I have a good idea of the wheels I can fit without any rubbing.

Right now I have a stock RWD staggered tires, 225/40-18, 255/40-18. I'd at least like 19inch wheels but 20 is okay too. The more aggressive the better, right?!

So... maybe 265/35-19 tires with a 19inch wheel?

What about 20in?

I appreciate your patience as I'm still pretty new to modding/upgrading anything, let alone my car.

Thanks!

Welcome to CL. I'm running 20x9 and 20x10.5. I always recommend the narrowest tire up front to avoid rubbing. I'm running Hancook Ventus V12 255/30/20 and up front 225/30/20. There is a thread called rolling on dubs if you search for it to see the car on 20's. good luck.
