Does it matter if there is a badge there or not if you are in a 250? Either way the car is not for speed!

i know my car is not for speed.i make mistake when i get its new in 09 and there is no is350 awd, that why i get is 250 awd.i dress up my car as rims, kit, noise from intake.,i will install exhaust soon, most people think my car look so aggressive but when they see the badge awd is 250.i think the badge make me feel weak.

Well guys!! One can have a BMW or Corvett (really fast car) but if you can not handle it, one does not know what the heck is doing, sobody with experience behind the wheel of an IS250/350 will leave you in the dust.
Experience behind the wheel is a must to get you to the checker flag!

Does anyone have any pictures of the hole, after debadging their F-sport emblems on the side fenders?

isn't it possible to take it to a body shop and let them do their thing and fix the holes?

That's why you just get a reg IS350 and put on the f-sport parts you want later. Instead of paying an extra 2k for something people want to take off.

I hear you on that, but for me as an employee, the price between a luxury package and f sport will still be the same for me, so i would just get the Fsport 350 and just debadge the "F". I like the appearance of the Fsport minus the badges compared to the more plain luxury package. I will carry over my intake and exhaust amongst other things from my 250 to it.

I agree, I debadge mine simply to look clean not bc I am ashamed I have a 250. I admit this is probably one of the slowest cars that Ive owned but I bought it for AWD so I can handle the harsh winters here.

OP if you wanna debadge and not spend money filling the holes and repainting the trunk check this thread https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ith-vinyl.html

heres my trunk shaved

Saw an IS today with the 250/350 badge removed but the Lexus badge still there. That is so obvious he has a 250.....smh. Nothing wrong with a 250 IMO. If you're that "embarrassed" you should've just got a Honda or something and modded the engine for "speed" and leave the "luxury" car for "mature" people.

maybe he removed it for the same reasons I did. why is it so obvious that he had a 250? lol u made that sound like something was wrong with being a 250 even though u said nothing is wrong

IMO that person has an "issue" with the 250 (or 350 badge). Why only remove that badge and not the Lexus badge? Most people remove badges for a cleaner appearance. Why only have half of your trunk "clean"? Just seems to me they are trying to hide the truth. I didn't give any kinda indication I find something wrong with a 250....I have a 250 and am perfectly satisfied with it....I am not 20 yrs old anymore so I don't need speed and think "racing" should be left for the track.

ahh gotcha when I read that earlier I thought u meant the "L" emblem at the top but at least he didnt throw on a 350, Fsport or F badge. I noticed a few ppl throwing F sport badges on their cars now lol I wouldnt do it even if I bought f sport parts. Still false badging imo if it wasn't really a f sport model

My 2012 F Sport only came with the "L" and IS250 badges in the back, leaving an empty left side of the trunk, so I have thought of getting rid of the IS250 but haven't done it due to the hole...

On the other hand I like the F sport badges, it adds to the sporty look of the car, but if my car wasn't USB I would probably not like them as much.

USB is hot! thats the only color I would have taken SFP if I could have found one at the time I was car shopping. Check out htis thread if u wanna cover the holes in your trunk without spending so much money https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-s...ith-vinyl.html
