Torque Specs...
Hi All,
Does anyone know, or can point me in the right direction, the torque specifications for a 2011 IS 250.
I looked at LexusDrivers.com but was only greeted with the torque specs of our lug nuts.
I'm looking to do my first oil change in the car and would like to know the torque specs of the drain plug and oil filter housing. Plus any other applicable ones.
P.S. Any tips I should know before I start?
Thanks!

76 ft lbs for wheel lug nuts.
30 ft lbs for the drain bolt.
18 ft lbs for oil filter assembly.
This is from Lexus service manual. I never use a torque wrench to tighten the drain bolt, I hand tighten then use a socket wrench and turn it tight and never had a problem. Good luck.

Just dont go nuts tightening the oil filter canister, I've seen people literally have to use an impact gun to get it off cause the previous person doing the oil change decided to tighten the canister like there's no tomorrow. Also make sure to change that rubber O ring and that it doesn't get cut or anything or it'll oil.
