Chrome window trim blackout?
Hey I'm contemplating on getting the chrome side window trim either hardchrome (darker finish) plated or just plasti diping them. Anyone have any pics or anything with a SGM?
What do you guys think, hot or not?

Not to discourage you from doing it but If I'm going to do it again I would remove the trim and paint it.
It can be done but you to be very patient and precise to where you are heating and stretching the vinyl. The most difficult part is tucking in the vinyl around the trim. If you don't do it right it will start to slowly peel off and bubble in a matter of days.

I had it professionally done with 3M vinyl in matte black.
