i drive my car everyday and after i let it fully warm up its race time.... NO you will not blow a gasket if you maintain the engine properly

It's good thing to rev up your car ocassionally. Driving it slow is, in contrast, a bad thing to the engine.

Very true... "babied" engines tend to collect more "buildup" in them over time.
