06 is350 sitting @ 122k no issues so far as the second owner, previous owner history shows all service records as done but nothing faulty jsut the scheduled maintenance.....

Yes, it was done at the dealership. I was originally quoted 1250 dollars. Another dealership quoted me 900.

I asked my original dealership to either price match it for me or I say bye bye.

They did and they lowered the price to 870 with taxes.

I thought we used timing chains too.

The dealership kept mentioning belt.

'06 just turned over 30K. Runs and looks as good as the day I got it (Jan 2006).

It is definitely a timing chain. There is no timing belt on the 250/350's

I have 99,000 miles on my 2006 IS350 and I've had nothing but problems.
Bank 2 catalytic converter/manifold went out which the dealership wanted $1,600 to fix.
Front Brake rotors were warped and squeeling $800 at dealership
Front end seal is leaking oil. Dealership wants $3,500 to drop the motor and fix the leak.
Recurring CEL for P0171 and PO170.

I am fed up with the car and want to sell it ASAP. Worst car I've ever owned.

Damn that sucks! I guess you're one of the few unlucky is350 owners.
