Default Question about getting after maket rims

Hey, so i was thinking of getting work vs xx rims but now my question is about the air tire pressure. Where is the sensor that read the air pressure? Final question would be, would getting aftermarket rims affect the sensor?

Sorry car didn't come with a owners manual or anything.

The tpms (tire pressure monitoring sensors) are mounted inside each wheel attached to the valve stem. Would getting aftermarket wheels effect the sensor? Yes and no. Without tpms youll throw a low tire pressure light on the dash. If you transfer over the sensor from your old wheels to your new wheels you will not throw the low tire pressure light. You could also buy a second set of sensors and have them installed in your new wheels and programmed to your car. Or you could do the "pipe bomb" method (search). And lastly you could do what i do which is stack my stock wheels up in the garage next to where i park (within 3-4 feet). Every time I turn my car on, my car "reads" the sensors in the stock wheels and I dont throw a tire pressure light for about 50 miles or so.

They will work, don't worry about it. Now order your wheels and hurry up and wait 12weeks for that fedex guy!

Feels goodmen
