Default New Owner - 2007 IS 350

Hello everyone, I just purchased an 07 IS 350 this past Sunday 5/27/12. The mileage is a bit up there at 105k, but I got a good deal. Im not really worried about resale, as I plan to have the car for a very very long time.

Anyways, I did try doing a search on the topic of high mileage IS 350s, but could not find one with any recent posts. So my question is, anyone out there with 100K+ IS 350s? Have there been any issues you have experienced so far? I know Toyota has its reputation for building cars that last, but its always nice to get 1st hand feedback.

The carfax report did show that the car had regular maintenance done at a Lexus dealer, and major issues/problems were every reported.

Any feedback is appreciated, I have been adding more miles to the car since it is just too much fun to drive. Looking foward to putting my own personal touches to it.

Thanks!
John

Thanks for the replies guys, I am aware of the recall issues, but im no sure if they were fixed. I would assume they were since records show that all maintenance was done at a Lexus Dealer. I will take the car in to the dealer to verify if all recall issues were fixed.

i recently bought an 07 350 as well. Mine has 106k but all the recalls and maintenance was performed. im like you, i should not put the useless miles on it but it is just too much fun to drive. . i have learned so much and have gotten a lot of useful info from the people on this website. WELCOME TO THE CLUB!!!

Locate your VIN, go to Lexus.com, sign up, and then you will be able to access your vehicle's DEALERSHIP service history.

Welcome, and enjoy!

I own IS350 with 119k miles and no problems at all. If the previous owner kept up with a maintenance it should be all good

As long as the previous owner took care of it, which it sounds like they did, then I don't see anything to worry about. These cars easily go to a high mile count.
Awesome choice with a 350 btw
