Default Strange tpms problem.... Need help

So encountered a strange problem... I put on a set of 2008 Infiniti G37S wheels (w/Infiniti TPMS) onto my 07 IS250AWD last night and figured once I start driving the warning light would come up on my dash, to my surprise it didnt light up... I've been driving for over 50km now and still no light!

Has anyone ever encountered anything like this?

Im trying not to buy new lexus TPMS if I dont have too

when I switched wheels I drove on the tpms for 50 miles or so before the light came on. It did not come on right away, but did after driving for a while. Seems like it takes a little while for the car to notice that the sensors are different.

As far as if the Infinity tmps with work with Lexus, I have no idea. Hopefully someone can chime in and help with that.

the infiniti TPMS sensors and the 2is TPMS are incompatible.

If you park next to your old tires. The light will stay off. Drive longer and it will pop up. Infinity sensor don't work on Lexus either

and even if they used the same type, the new ones would still need to be programmed into the car

yeah, I think it's because you may be parking close enough to your old wheels and tires that it is registering them as valid still.

Normal, like others have said the light will turn on eventually.

Do you have lexus wheels and tires in garage or near your car at home?
If yes, some people are stating that because car is parked close to TPMS (wheels removed) the warning lights remain off.
Does that mean that this 50+mile drive is reset every time car is parked near TPMS or once it reaches certain amount of miles, warning lights will remain lit until propler programmed sensors are installed on new wheels?

Yes, everytime you are near your lexus wheels they will 'turn on' and recognize again.

I think the time is 20-25min away from your tires with engine on for the tpms lights to come on again. (If you restart your car inbetween, that 20-25min timer is reset)
