Since upgrading to 11 / 12 LED headlights and tapping the green LED wire to the IG2 fuse, I've noticed that my engine will not shut off at the push of the button if the light stalk is turned to the ON position. Strangely, In order to kill the engine, I must turn my lights to the off position. Will this cause any negative long term damage? Please advise..

I may rewire the green LED wire and tap it to the cigarette lighter fuse as a precaution.

Whoa that's weird. I would redo the wiring anyway if that's the case...!
