Default HID kit and drl ?

Hey guys,

Just got a 2008 IS250 with 42k yesterday, and I'm LOVING IT!

I'm ready to start the mods and make this ride look like some of yours.

Anyway, the car doesn't have any HID and I really want to get rid of the yellow drl.

To start off I just order these:

I have a question about the XENON DEPOT HID KIT, seems like alot of your guys have it too.

How come when I click on the Xtreme Digital HID Conversion Kits: I get the option H11 and 6500K for color

http://www.kbcarstuff.com/Xtreme-Dig...s-p/xt-hid.htm

But, when I got with the Xtreme Digital HID Conversion Kits With Philips Bulbs: I only get a fitmit option of H11 4300K?

Which one is better? and isn't 4300K alot less brighter than the 6500?

http://www.kbcarstuff.com/Xtreme-Dig...-p/xtp-hid.htm

thanks.

the difference in color: 6500K will be white with hints of blue while the 4300K will be in the white with hints of yellow (much like stock HID's)

the difference in Usable light output: the 6500K will produce much LESS light output than the 4300K (which is the best if you really want to see the road very well)

Functionality = 4300K
Looks = 6500K

also, if you decide to get the 6500K...see if they have an option for a 55W ballast instead of the 35W most HID Kits come with. That will increase your light output with out sacrificing much of the "looks" you may be trying to go for.

I would recomemnd 35W kits. 55Ws are more powerful but they do have realiabiltiy issues and the bulbs would not last as long; this is not including the possibly legality issues with it as well for being too bright.
