Dome Fuse Keeps Blowing?
My 08 is250 was fine just a couple of weeks ago, now the dome fuse for the inside lights keeps blowing, when I put a new 10A fuse in, it blows instantly. Any idea what could be causing this?

I just had this issue myself.
I had VLEDs on all interior lights, puddle lights, and trunk light. What I found was that my wiring harness for the trunk light had a break in the insulation and shorted out. Unfortunately, this happened two days after I had coilovers installed, which requires removal of the trunk liner. By the time I got to damage, it had already shorted and melted the insulation about 3 inches up in the harness.
I had the VLEDs for over a year without any issues (besides the known key fob issue). However, because the harness was damaged by the time I found it, I cannot say for sure whether the tech removing the trunk liner damaged the insulation trying to remove the connector from the bulb assembly, or the LED itself caused the issue. The LED I removed appears to be in perfect condition, no visible damage at all.
Here are a couple pics of the damage:
This is what I initially found while replacing the VLEDs with stock bulbs:
The damage appeared to end here, although the ground insulator may still be melted to the sheath farther up the harness:
I got lucky and put some electrical tape on the exposed conductors, and it stopped blowing fuses. I am taking the car back to the shop that did the coilover install next week to have their electrical guy look at it. I'll keep you guys updated on what the result is. I will be curious to hear if it was the LEDs that caused the issues for you guys, right now I'm assuming the tech damaged the insulation while removing the connector and caused the short, but if you guys can trace it to the LEDs, I'll let the shop off the hook.
