nah im not buying them to block the sun, just for the looks of it, but if it does that too then thats cool.
Its cool that you can open the window a little bit to vent out smoke if your hotboxing or smoking and the rain wont get in tho.
Sffd did you 3m tape it on?

The purpose of visors is keep your car cool during summer heat , roll down windows a bit to keep your interior cool especially if u have nav, and Mark Levinson, prevent heat up those component over time. Also prevent dust to get in your interior and keeping water get into your car when driving in the rain. Its a choice u have to make whether JDM or AVS. U get what u paid for

I have the JDM ones and I got them just for looks to tell you the truth. IMHO the JDM ones flow much better with the IS and sit a little more flush than the other brands out on the market. It is an added bonus that you can roll down your windows/crack it open when its raining to get some fresh air in without letting rain in.
If you have the spare $$$ get the JDM ones, you won't regret it. If not, nothing wrong with the AVS or Weathertech ones. Save the rest of your money for something else. Its just a matter of preference.

IMO the people complaining that 400$ is alot of money for visors probably dont have much mods on their car lol. its like 95$ per visor

^^doesn't mean they dont have alot of mods on their cars, it means that $400 can be used on alot more other things then for some plastic visors, my boy got his 3 days ago for $85 brand new for his 2012 STI all oem with the subaru engraved in the plastic. Some things for this car are just over priced and alot of people know it but don't acknowledge it. Every person has their on budget on modding a car, some can spend $600 on a front lip where others can only spend $200....just saying.

Everyone has their priorities in life, not everyone can afford or want to drop $400 on some plastic pieces. If you think $400 is worth it, then by all means do it.
This is almost exactly like replicas vs authentic wheel battle. Not everyone can or will spend $2000 on wheels when they can spend $1000 to make the car look good to their likings. Yes, I've seen it all, those companies work hard to design these wheels, I like them too, but I have other priorities in my life more important than my car.
Back on topic though, I've read people say that JDM visors have better fitment than AVS. I personally have AVS visors and their fitment is realistically not that great and what I mean by not that great is the piece that slips under the triangular piece on the front doors doesn't quite reach it, but it doesn't bother me that much and they work fine even on the double sided tape they supplied.
