unless you've had a number of repair expenses with the car, no. a grand isn't much to pay after 120k miles of faithful service, under the assumption that your particular car has been as reliable as the vast majority of our cars have. that, and you're out of warranty anyhow, so going to a reputable independent shop would save you a considerable amount.

whether you want to replace the car out of desire rather than necessity is another issue.
