It was before but now my front end is upgrading in body shop due to a hit and run car when she was parked, so they can take care it for me. The problem is just one of my little "want to know" list in my mind.

I have 3 screws left underneath because I keep losing them. I have had no problems. To go in through the wheel well you have to take your wheels off or turn them back and forth. There is also the problem or bending your fender liner and scratching your bumper cover the sides. You will have a garbage looking install because the fender liners are a pain.

TAKE YOUR BUMPER OFF. Like it's been said, it's not hard, and you will be able to do a much cleaner install that will have fewer problems later. The first time I did mine, I went through the fender. I ended up having to pull the bumper off later to fix the garbage install and do it properly anyways. save yourself the trouble.

^+1. If you're just replacing the bulb, you can get away with going through the fender liner, but if you're installing an HID kit, you have more components like the ballast hanging. I don't see anyway that you can properly mount the ballast to the vehicle when you have such limited room through the wheel well area.

Do it right once so you don't have to keep re-doing it down the road.
