Question with this dash cam does it turn on/off as soon as the car turns on/off or do you have to manually turn it on everytime?

I had an incident like this at the dealer. But they repainted my quarter panel also without me doing much complaining.

Sorry about your situation OP. but as you already realized you are in good hands with Jimmy. I've been to Longos service dept countless times, and everyone from there porters to service mangers have been nothing but great. I'm sure Jimmy and the management will take care of everything for you. Even with this unfortunate incident, I would have no problems taking my car back. Goodluck op! Keep us posted and thank you for the info on the dash cam, I'm no doubt getting one.

I've always want one like that, so do I really need a memory card for the dash cam? If yes then what kind of memory card do I need? Thanks

Sorry about the incident. Managers have been brought to attention about this. Jimmy is very good and he will make sure to get you taken care of. If you need any further assistance you can call me. I'll PM you my phone number. I work in sales deparment, but we are a team at Longo. We are all responsible to take care of our guest. Especially our mistakes.

Thanks so much JamesN. I will keep that number just in case of anything (:
As for as everyone is concerned, here are some quick snaps I took of how i set up my dash cam.
I copied this set up from another member here. I do not remember his name but he's the one with the isx50 and ISF front end conversion. Well anyways, here are some pictures.

Because the power in linked to the car, the camera turns on and off whenever your car turns on and off!
You simply do not need to do anything. Memory card, I use a 32 GB. It's way more than enough!

I love the "Take care of your Guest" banner in the video. Tell them to take care of you then!
