hmm I'd better look into doing this too.. wouldn't want to cause electrical issues.. thanks for the headsup...

How did you get water in the ballast? They should be mounted in a position where water would not be an issue. Even then, most [quality] ballasts are waterproof to avoid these issues.

TRS is fantastic. I used them for my retrofit, and Matt@TRS was most helpful in setting me up with the best package for my lights. Return policy is top-notch; I was able to exchange equipment partway through the retrofit with ease.
I just had it resting under the headlight on the body. Im assuming with rain getting in there and resting there it got into the ballast. I had it in an upright position on the driver side so i had no problems there. The people who sold me the kit sent me another under warranty after asking me a few questions about how it got damaged.
