Only recall I'm aware of that's fuel related for the 06-08 ISxxx would be the fuel pressure sensor, some sensors weren't properly tightened and could leak, so they would just replace the seal and re tighten it.
Haven't heard of anything for the fuel pump, only aware of those going out from people running their tank down too low on a regular basis, think it causes it to overheat.

prob out of warranty that's why dealer charging the whole amount for the replacement, that's gonna leave a dent on your pocket but come to think if you gonna get another car like used 350,your chances that might encounter problem is high unless you have another warranty to cover most of your problem.

Also I don't see how the fuel pump would not be covered under the powertrain warranty. If your fuel pup does not work the "powertrain" won't power anything.

Under powertrain warranty, fuel pump is listed
edit: just realized your mileage...

since you're less than 3k past that I'd expect them to perhaps offer to at least split it or something

Thanks heyarms and Kurtz im calling corporate again cant believe they gave me false info. I even stated that i thought she was incorrect about it not being covered under the powertrain warranty she put me on hold and then confirmed that it was only covered up the 4/50K but i will call back and tell them this info and point them to this link. Thanks again.
