Default Changing city lights/fog light bulbs

Ok what would be the best route to take? So far I have the mtec hid kit for my low beams. Now I want to change my fog light bulbs and city light bulbs

Fogs: my choice would be the nokya 2500k 9006 55watts but I'm afraid of it melting. How do i prevent it from melting?

City lights: thinking of buying the one on eBay from kaizen motoraports cause the last d2r bulb I bought from them was good quality!!

Any suggestions? I don't want to buy the hid kit

as long as the watts on the new bulbs are not higher than oem bulbs, you shouldn't have problems for getting the harness to melt.

For your city lights check out vleds. Imo should also go hid for your fogs. Check our vendor section. Gl

i have the nokya 2500k on my fogs. One of them burnt out a week ago after a year so yesterday i was replacing it and i noticed that it melted the plastic around the harness (ouch). so i am not sure whats going on, i replaced it anyways but now i am bit scared. i don't have them on all the time either. but the thing is i don't remember the wattage on my previous set, the new ones are 55watt so i'll see whats gonna happen with these. anyone has any issues with the 55 watts?

Dont bother with halogens for your fogs, get HIDs. And get your city lights from VLEDs
