Newbie from Toronto, Canada
Just wanted to say hello and thanks to everyone on the forum for the great information and pictures of inspiration of their Is 350's and 250's. I purchased a 2012 Is 250 AWD loaded Luxury and Navigation package. My wife and I were deciding between the Merc 4-matic or the Lexus AWD and the Lexus won hands done. You got alot more features on the Lexus then the Merc for the money and after purchasing a Toyota FJ Cruiser last year we decided to stay within the Toyota family. We chose the 250 for the simple reason that we could afford to buy the 350 loaded and do no mods or a 250 loaded and add mods. Lets face it, half the fun is adding modifications to your car so for me Hp wasn't the deciding factor. I would post pictures but I'm sure everyone has seen a Starfire Pearl Is 250 so I won't bore you.
The mods which I have done so far in the first 3 weeks or ownership are:
1) Paint and Leather protection through the dealership
2) Put a Lexus spoiler on
3) Tinted the windows-35%
4) 3M wrapped the front bumper, front lights, hood, side mirrors, door edges and underneath the door handles(to prevent my wife's rings form scratching the paint)
5) F-sport Cold Air Intake
6) F-sport Exhaust
7) F-sport front and back sway bars
Once again thanks and sorry for the long post.

Welcome to CL! You're off to a good start in the mods. I wished I 3M wrapped my front end when I first bought it because there's so many rock chips now. Happy Canada Day!

I was drawn to the AWD for the interior features such as the Nav, backup camera, cooled seats etc. that the RWD didn't have. I had make sure the boss (my wife) was happy as well seeing as she was paying for it.LOL
