Default red color headlights?

Hi guys just a quick question. I want to change my headlights to a red color but i dont know if thats legal or not. I really dont want to get stopped by the cops and get a fine just for having them. Anyone know anything about this?

I'd check your state laws, but I'd be willing to bet red tint is illegal

I'm pretty sure it's illegal. Red and Blue exterior lights are reserved for emergency vehicles such as police, fire trucks, or ambulance.

Plus it violates DOT code where red lights are for rear , unless you are an emergency vehicle.

Now Im wondering why you would do that? That totally affects the light output in every way possible 0___0"
or is that just my own two cents :X

Doing that in the projector does not affect light output in any way. It's on the front side of the shield.
