Default Black IS, Black Housing Headlight?

So the theme I had in mind for my IS was intended for a White car (Black headlight, dark tint, dark rims). I ended up getting a Black Onyx IS350, so following the same theme I would end up with a blacked out IS.

I just got the car tinted, 15% all around (except windshield). Question is, should I do the black headlight and foglight?

Eventually, I will get Hyper black rims for a little contrast but maintaining the darker theme. Of course, some people would say "To each his own", and "do what makes me happy." Just wanna see what you guys think.

Note: I would post pics but seems like my pics didn't work from the last post which may be due to me linking it to Facebook. Once I get an account from a photo storage site I'll post...thousands of pics.

Edit: BTW, black housing headlight but tinted headlight.
This is what she looks like as of today.

yes photos would be nice, I use imageshack but any related hosting site works.

many here, myself included, are not fans of the murdered look. I think black rims are OK, but blacking out head/tail lamps I don't think looks great with a black car. I think you lose the classy look, the Lexus appeal all together. On some cars it looks nice, on a white IS I would say it might look good, but on black, not a fan personally.

I agree. Since its a lexus, I wanted a cleaner look. But that went out the window since it came with an HKS exhaust (love the exhaust note, not a fan of the large muffler design).

^^Paint yours black. I bought mine that way and it makes it much more stealthy and the large round canisters less noticeable.

@mjh09e, hmm good idea. Do you have pics of it? I'll get a lip kit later to make the rear flow better. I'm planning on dropping it with coils too. Any problems with scraping the muffler?

Heres an idea of how yours will look, just imagine it with the amber corner though I think it would look better than having it all blacked out

Contact Kris he will get them to u for the same price as mine if u want the same size tires and tpms etc.

My set up
Bolt Pattern: 5x114.3 Rim Width: 8.5F & 9.5R
Hub Bore: 60.1 Rim Diameter: 19
Rim Brand: OE Replica Offset: +38F & +45R
235/35/19
275/30/19
dropped 1.25 on Megan springs. Fenders aren't modded either. I do rub slightly on the inside when turning but nothing major like I said SLIGHTLY it hasnt really shown any wear on my liners yet nor has it affected my drivability.

Here are a couple pics from my other thread. As of now there is no rubbing or hitting on anything, but I haven't dropped it more yet. Going to get spacers first and then see how much to lower, if at all.

I don't think he is gonna black out his tail lights. As his friend I wont let him either lol Not many members on here are a fan of it but to each his own.
