wtf?
Holy Crap....
Well, You Were Lucky It Didnt Make Your Car Smell Like Dead Rotting WatchaMaCall It.
You Found It Before That....

But Still...
Damn...
Your Making Me Want To Go Check My Air Filter...
But Then, My Car Only Sat At The Dealer 3 Days Before I Got It Off Of Them...
June 6th, Car Was Traded To The Dealership where the car was bought...
June 9th, Stopped By The Lexus Dealer To Look At The 08 Lexus IS250 AWD Priced At $28,000 & It Had 40,000 Miles On It...
My Price Range Was 22k MAX.
(Dad Was Paying For It & He Is A Good Negotiator.) Got It $23,700 With Pre Owned Warrenty.
Hows That Deal?

Only way in is thru the intake nozzle openings, visible when you open the hood. Must have shimmied through the opening looking for warmth and once it dropped inside the air box there was no escape. Glad it did not rot and stink up the car, it would have been tough to find, who would think a rodent would go in there? Just not sure why it was mummifed and not a skeleton, I think it was in there a long time.

Reminds me of the old story about Michael Jackson sleeping in an oxygen chamber. The difference being its like a hurricane blows through every once in a while.
