Default 1300$$ repair for my is 350

so my car has not driven the same in a whle. steering feels loose, sways at high speed and alignment doesn't hold into spec. Took it to lexus and they recommended replacing my "worn out" caster bushings which are the lower control arm bushings. While they were inspecting the car they also found two oil leaks. Im at 84000 miles on my 06 is350. Im unfortunetly covering the bushings which will run about 650 installed at the stealership and the leaks they quoted me about another 600. im really hoping my extended warranty for the valve spring recall will cover the costs of the leak. Has anyone had similiar problems.? i feel like an is 350 shouldn't have to have these things with this low of mileage. any input would be great. In addition, they were able to get all my alignment specs back to normal except the front right camber. Any ideas why? i know there is no camber adjustment besides a kit. is it abnormal that only one side's camber went out after years of spring settling?

Bushings are wear and tear items. Did you drop your car? n e way, get the bushing done at an independant shop, not at the dealer. way cheaper.

I already did it at the dealer I'm debating to do the oil there too. I want to know it gets done right.

If you got the powertrain warranty extended to 100k due to the recall I'd expect that to cover most places oil would be leaking from.... the bad news is that's already expired on most 06 models... (it extended the mileage, not the years- which is 6... first 06s were on-sale mid-2005... only the last couple months of sales are less than 6 years old at this point.

Where in CA are you? There are quite a few good independent shops around that can do the work for much cheaper i'm sure.

^^ thats what i realized after the fact.
but good news i called lexus corp since they never gave me an extended warranty and they r going to go ahead and give me the warranty which will cover the oil. so i only had to pay for the bushings. Had amazing service at the new DCH LEXUS OF SANTA BARBARA. you guys should check them out. worked with the shop foreman personally in addition to having a very knowledgeable and laid back service adviser.
