Opinions on 2007 IS 250
I am in the process of trading off/selling my 2001 BMW 325i and I am looking at a 2007 Lexus IS 250 with 150,000 miles, one owner, the Carfax shows that the airbag has been deployed and accident/damage reported, seven service records. I have yet to purchase the full report as I am going for a test drive tomorrow afternoon. Listed at $13,988.
Therefore... My question is about the value of the car and what the normal wear and tear is on a Lexus? What should I look out for? What should I be concerned with? Etc... I do not know much about Lexus, but have been reading up a bit. So any help is MUCH appreciated! What I want out of a car is something I enjoy driving, luxury is nice, but also something that has some power to it so I don't get bored. The BMW was subpar in my opinion, but that is in comparison to the 350z which is unfair. But I need to stay in the under 14k price range for the next few years while I graduate and work on my Masters.
A little about my car history... I've owned: 1996 Mustang Cobra, MT (first car), 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 (parents influenced), 2007 Honda Civic (remember that craze?), 2005 Nissan 350z (my long lost love who I will never forget), and now a 2001 BMW 325i that I just had to replace the engine.

Umm.... No.
Not Worth It... 150k Miles is pushing It...
I got my 2008 IS250 AWD 40k Miles (Exact Too... 40,000 when i test drove it)
With Pre Owned Certified With Extended Warrenty For 23,700.
My Opinion Would Be To Look Somewhere Else...
P.S. It Was Price At $28,000.
For around 14k, i think you can find something else...

Also,
Check Out Sites Like
Cars.com
Autotrader.com
Even Check Out Craigslist. There Are Some Sellers That Need Money ASAP And Will Sell It For A Lot Less But You Might Have To Pay Cash...
And Another Place To Try Is At Car Auctions. Now Car Auctions Are A "Hit or Miss" Type of Thing.
If you Dont Understand Anything, I Can Explain....
