Stupidity at the Dealership
I have only had my car for about a month,(IS250AWD with Nav package)and had some upgrades done at the dealership- Tint, 3M wrap, F-sport exhaust, F-sport CAi, F-sport front and rear Sway Bars,paint protection, leather protection and a spoiler. One of the upgrades done was having a spoiler put on. The person who installed the spoiler didn't use the template that comes with it to drill the hole, so he drilled the hole to low on the trunk which resulted in the sides of the spoiler to lift away from the top of the trunk. The service adviser informed me that they would order me a new trunk and have it painted. I told him that this wasn't acceptable because nothing can compare to a factory paint job. He forwarded my concerns to the Service Manager who in turn said they would replace my trunk with another trunk off a new car so it would be a factory trunk for a factory trunk. I was pleased and left the car there for two days. Once I picked up the car I noticed that the new trunk had a scratch on it and to my surprise my bumper also now had a big scratch on it. I was pissed! I showed the Manager the scratches. He then informed me they will have to replace the bumper as well. At this point I said enough is enough and told him and my salesman that I didn't want this car anymore. This car to me is a rag doll with a trunk from one car and a bumper from another and it is only a month old with 2000km on it. They told me that they would talk to their boss and see what can be done for me. I said that I would be willing to upgrade to the Is 350AWD with Nav so that both parties would benefit. Lets see what happens on Monday!
Sorry for the long rant but I needed to vent about my dealership experience and the stupidity of the mechanics who worked on my car.

Just to give everyone an update, I just got off the phone with the salesman. They are still trying to work it out- He says the problem is my car doesn't exist in Canada. There are only two cars in Canada, both out west in Pearl white in the Luxury and Nav package. He asked me if I would be interested in another colour in a 250 or 350? He also asked if I would be interested in a convertible because they have a 350 on site.The only catch is that it is a demo with low km. I told him that I didn't want a used one but I would be open to another colour if that is the only option. I made the point that I just didn't want this car anymore seeing as they would have to replace the trunk for a third time along with the bumper. He agreed and said to leave it with him while he tries to work something out.

I would definitely jump on a 350AWD with the Luxury & Nav package as long as they will swap all my accessories over to the new car. I don't mind paying a little more but the difference also has too reflect the hassel I have gone through. Keep you posted.

Besides your misfortune with the dealer im wondering what you paid for the parts and their markup to install was? F Sport+Dealer+markup? Oy Vey they made a killing and screwed up your brand new ride..... Again sorry for your mishap, Hope it works out in the end for you.
