ROFL! That's one way to save on shipping I guess.

PU can be a hassle to properly paint, even if you get a shop to do it. I've heard of people having issues with pinholes in the paint surface. I think it has something to do with the material. They just paint over it until its smooth.

Yeah. Another thing I noticed is the lip was pretty scuffed up and almost looked cracked in some spots. The guy at the shop mentioned that PU can crack easy, but he is gonna fix it up. He was also bit concerned about the fitment. I should have it installed in a few days. Hopefully this is doesn't turn into a fail project!

My PU lip for my civic was smooth like ABS plastic and painting was not a problem. Keep us posted though OP!!!

So the verdict is in........i'll let the pics speak for themselves........

As you can see there is a pretty nasty looking gap. I'm not happy with this at all. after spending time modifying it and painting, this has turned into a complete disaster. the weird thing is the fitment on the drivers side is fine, and flush, but on the passenger side it has this gap.

From a distance, you cant really notice, but when you get close you can see this gap. It looks worse in the pic, but still i do not consider this acceptable,

It sucks because i was so close to buying the Fabo rep from ebay and I've seen so many successes with it fitting well, but this GFX rep is a POS. I opened a paypal dispute and hopefully i can get some money back.
