Driving down the freeway, every 2IS catches my eye, stock or modified and I admire it. It's going on 6 years now and still looks sexy to me.

Do you think it will age gracefully in 5, 10, 15 years? I guess the benchmark is the e46.

I think it will age nicely, especially if they model the 3IS based on the 4GS. Nothing against the GS, it looks great, but I dont think the IS will look THAT much better than it does now. Just my opinion

 

I agree with you DigitalDon. She looks great in any color, with or without mods. Her lines are sharp and so sexy to me. I think this is the first car I have ever owned that I will never part with. Yea, maybe one day I will have a newer car (prolly her big sister GS) but I dont think my 2IS will ever leave my driveway.

That's what drew me to this car to begin with. If it looks sexy stock, I can make mine seXXXy! I think I did a good job!

 

i'm with everyone here, i love the car how it looked stock and how it looks modded, mine will be paid off in about 3-4 years and ya i'll probably buy other cars but i will never sell my 350 =)

 

I think this car will always look great. It will look even sexier if the 3IS is ugly!

 

Yeah its one of those cars that can look timeless. I just upgraded to the 2012 headlights so it looks a few years younger now

 

Yes, I think it's still pretty good. It's mostly the shape, and the new style didn't change much there. The spindle grille is nice, but I thought the GS one doesn't as look good compare to ES and RX.

 

Hmm, good point. All of the Lexusessesses have aged very gracefully, albeit the only debuted in 89. But they age better than most people do!

But I still think if the 3IS looks incredible, it will overshadow the 2IS.

But the 2IS definitely is still sexy. I still do feel the same whenever I see it. It's like love at first sight .

I hope Lexus does not make the 3IS as good looking as our 2IS

I think it's aged very well. They look a lot sleeker when they're lowered and the refreshes help out too.
