I have searched for a solution with no luck. I have a 2011 is350 with navigation and the newest generation ipod hooked up through the USB port. Just recently it started acting up saying the accessory is not recognized. I have to disconnect the ipod and plug it back in. Also when I turn the car off it lets the ipod sit and drains the battery. Before it would shut the ipod off. I have done nothing different and it use to work fine. Any suggestions or help would be great.

If you recently updated the iPod software, that could cause it. You can take it to the dealer too, if it's a car problem, since you still have warranty.

Mine does that regularly. I just unplug and plug the ipod back in and it fixes the problem.
