Hey 07awdis250:
So it is an 8" screen right? I found out that this unit has a built in microphone, not like Flyaudio that has one wired and located anywhere you choose. Have you tried making calls on it yet?
Did you have to pay any duty on the shipment since its from China? What version of igo is it, 8 or 9?
Thanks for the pics! Looks like you'll be changing out those vents?

Yes , The unit has a 8" screen . I did make a few calls after linking my unit with my iphone, but I hung up after I heard the speaker were working at the time, I have to make a full call and see how well the mic works. I did not pay any custom fees it was simple just like a regular ups delivery here in the states . As far as maps , I have igo9 included for extra $10 from the seller.

It might be the battery in your fob. Try holding it next to the push start button, like make it touch, and see of it turns green.

As for the unit, please update us on the full functionality of it when possible. Thanks!

It;s kind of odd that when you installed the unit your battery drained. Hope there isn't something wrong with the unit or the install. But based on your earlier post it seems to be pretty much plug and play.

I was installing the rear camera and all the lights were on because the doors were opened including the trunk.

you should always disconnect the battery when installing new electronics, even if its plug and play! i hope you did, if not then you probably drained the battery due to the lights being on too long. i experienced that once when i had my car stored for winter, battery was too low and when i charged it up the car started right up. yours will too.

use one of those old style oil filter wrench with the rubber belt, wrap around the **** and that should provide leverage without damaging it.
