This is bad omen, i hope it isn't the unit cos if the car end up costing you money on something else because of the unit, that would ot be good at all.

I doubt it's the unit that is causing his problems as when I installed my flyaudio I had to turn on my car to move it out the way for my dad and the hole center console/radio was missing durring that time.

I dont know what the hell but my car doesn't want to start . The brake pedal is very stiff has anyone encountered this problem before? It cranks just finw but it does not start. Radio, lights ,windows work as well. Im also able to unluck and lock the car with the control.
Really appreciate the pics here. So the vents are they the changed one or you have yet to changed them cos the gap are pretty big (and also not inlined on the sides).

I also see colour difference to where the CD section is to the unit.

From the pic it reallt doesn't look like good quality material

Is it possible that when installing the unit he might have damaged some wires in the back that would cause such a problem? I think it's too much of a coincidence that the day he does the install his car would no longer start. There has to be a connection between the 2. (or maybe not, what do I know...)

The color diffrence is because he has a unit made for an 09+ car while he has an 06-08. The shade of that trim changed slighlty bettween those years.

He states (and you copied) that he needs to replace the center vents with the 2009 model.

Biased much?

His post clearly said that he still needs to change the vents with the newer model. Color difference is due to 4 year old plastic vs brand new one. Every picture on the flyaudio site also shows the same color and the same types of material. In fact it looks EXACTLY the same.

As a vendor of FlyAudio, you are expected to promote them, but as a poster in someone elses thread, it is bad manner to bad mouth another vendor's product.

I wired the camera to the reverse light and the camara seems to be working fine so I dont think thats what's causing the problem. I also dont think is the unit because is simply plug and play.

It looks like he needs to boost the car, drive it around to charge the battery since he let it discharge completely when he installed the rear camera. All symptoms point to a low battery condition for now. It is possible that there is a pinched wire that is draining the battery though, so your suggestion to recheck all wiring is also a good one, if this persist.

I hardly call it bad mounthing, i can only write what i see. So the 4 years discolorization was the reason for the different shades, what's wrong with stating the obvious?
