Can you please clarify something for me regarding the Bluetooth:
So even when we change out the headunit, the factory Bluetooth and the voice prompts still work? But voice commands will no longer be recognized right? Also, if connected to the factory Bluetooth, will the aftermarket headunit mute automatically?

Alright let me try to clarify a little bit more.

Bluetooth 1 (Factory)
Bluetooth 2 (Aftermarket)

I do not connect with Bluetooth 2 because of the sound I hear and what others on the other end hear. I have my iPhone 4 configured to connect to Bluetooth 1 only. Bluetooth 1 works exactly the same as if the factory head unit was installed. If I have my phone configured to connect to Bluetooth 2 all factory prompts will only work if Bluetooth 1 is still connected to the phone. I noticed when I had both connections enable the unit had issues deciding which Bluetooth to select. So it is ones best interest to only have one Bluetooth connected. Bluetooth 2 will give the option to see contact list, what person you are speaking to and time on the phone and more. I do not use Bluetooth that much, so I just kept it simple with the factory.

if you have warranty, please make sure you install the factory head unit first. unless you r cool with them.

Funny, I email Lucy from lsq and she is saying their unit only works on is250 but not on the 350.... I find this hard to believe. What does every body think? She just don't knows what she's talking about hopefully?

i was just on chat with one of those guys, and they told me it doesn't work for 2006 IS 350. hope someone can confirm, or deny this. i just don't see why it would not work?

i don't care about the vent thing, that's easy to fix, but is there some connection difference that would prevent it from working? apparently they even have one that is suitable for 07 and 08, that doesn't require vent changes, but not 06??? doesnt make sense

Update: I found the problem thanks to my buddy and his fancy equiptment who works at Lexus dealership , it was 3 spark plugs that were shot along with coil #3 . I also replaced the battery . Labor was free because my buddy hook me big time. Car is runing like a champ video coming tomorrow after work!
