"Fixed" in regards to the fact that we don't use the metric system here in US. Of course we all know how to do a basic math conversion...it's not a matter of not understanding (for any of us here). I don't want to look at my dashboard and see that it's 97 F outside, then look on my AC controls and set 22 C...that's just annoying, but I could live with it. As long as the unit is of decent quality I'll be fine with it....just wish I could find one that actually fit an '07 without having to replace the AC vents at this point. I see some out there on Alibaba, but when I contact the seller they say, "oh yeah, we actually don't have those anymore." Great...take them down then.

Can anyone post pictures of this unit installed with the '09-'10 vents? I'm also wondering how far off the color match is on these units when matched up against the CD changer underneath (once installed).
I just got quoted $560 from the vendor (including shipping), and there are just a few loose ends I want to tie up that revolve around my questions above.
any help/insight is greatly appreciated folks. Thanks.

Thinking of getting one as well, I have a 2006 car. I'd like to see how it looks with the new vents before committing though... Thanks for posting some pictures with the new vents.

I guess buying the '09 vents doesn't solve the gap issue with these units since those who have bought this unit have gone dark on us. Those Chinese manufacturers don't make these units to fit '06-'08 models anymore.

All reports from those who have bought these units and the flyaudio units points to changing the vent. This is also confirmed in the other thread discussing the flyaudio unit. The only one on this thread that has gone "dark", provided a VERY valid reason for doing so, and expecting an answer from him is unreasonable.

See this post -
09 vents - no gap with a bit of work on the back of the vents.

Yes i did, everything work great, but the USB connector is not the same.... you can't just plug in the usb .. it look like it is a male connector inside. HOwever, i went out and buy a female connector and it still doesn't work. After further exam, i see that the pin inside is a bit different. it like this [ I I I I ] and for the our normal usb.. it is like [ I I I I ]. After i talked with their rep, they said lexus have it own cable in the back. I google 2010+ IS350 and indeed they have a factory USB connection in the arm rest ... so, did lexus have their own connector behide the 2010+ unit???
