Yes your Bluetooth and steering controls work. The reason I said problems with Bluetooth is that it does not sound the same as stock, its a little scratchy and buggy, though I got my stock to work with this unit. It works better if one or the other is not set up. All in all though, this unit was worth every penny I spent.

True story, the wife had a 2009 Honda Fit and I looked around and found a navi from an Alibaba Express seller. I placed my order got it about a week later and it was not the same thing that the seller posted on the web. When I was finally about to have the seller respond to my email's the reply that I got was "oh that was the old model" so what you have now is the newer model. Well that wasn't what I wanted, it didn't fit correctly and never worked the way it should have had. Long story short I had to jump to hoops to get my money back, and ended up with the stock radio back in the Fit.

Couple of questions:

1. I have a 2006 therefore I would need to get the 2009+ center a/c vents. Looking on Sewell I see the cost of this is $ 225.36 plus shipping but not including my discount. Is this right? Seems a bit pricey.

2. For those that ordered and received your unit - I assume it is coming from overseas - did you have to also pay any duties on it? If so, how much?

One thing in particular you can look at is the buttons, they are different between the two versions (06-08 and 09-12) This unit will work with models before 09 but then comes the gap. Here is a link that has models 06-08,

http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/48...ayer_with.html

This unit would not require the vents. enjoy!

So basically the difference between the 06-08 model and 09-12 model is just the styling ?. Any functionally difference ?. That trim piece is pricey, so I think I'd prefer the 06-08

Yes and the color of the unit. One thing to think of, does your vehicle have Bluetooth installed already? If not, I am not sure the 06-08 units come with mic or not. I know the model I purchased 09-12 it did not come with Bluetooth mic because my 2011 already had Bluetooth installed by factory.
