Hello All, Just wanted to post my experience with the unit install
I got my unit and I installed it last week. The unit install itself was very easy (I had to get rid of all the tabs on the bottom of the unit for it sit properly above the stock CD changer). I have a 07 IS250 so need the +09 vents. Which I have on order. I am currently in process of installing the backup camera and its not easy at all. I am going the drilling route now and will install it this weekend. I spent about 3 hours trying to get the License plate lights off and its not possible at all. (It would be very helpful if anybody could PM me some camera install instructions)
To my surprise I also received a TV tuner with the unit which i want to install, but cant figure out some connections. Refer to the pic attached.
1. I dont understand what to do with the "+12V" and "ACC" cables. (Pic 1)
2. Also, I dont know if the antenna that came along needs to be powered (Pic 2)
3. I understand that the 3 RCA (yellow red and white) go to the video/audio in for the unit (Pic 1 and 5)
3. The TV-CONT go to the TV-CONT on the back of the unit. (Pic 1 and 5)
4. I understand the "GND" needs to be grounded. (Pic 1)
Counting on you folks to help me figure this out

Hi All... I've been following this thread and have a few questions hopefully someone can shed some light on. Like many members with '06 IS250 my navigation has failed me and that's why I'm looking into this unit now. My question is regarding the OEM backup camera and OEM bluetooth mic. Is it possible to integrate with the china unit?? Ideally, I'm looking to hookup the OEM backup cam/bluetooth mic that came with my original navigation.
From what I've read, sounds like the bluetooth mic may not be needed since this unit comes with a mic already, but the backup camera would be a big plus if I can keep it with this unit!
Thanks in advance and any help is appreciated.

After installing this unit I noticed the airbag srs warning light on the instrument panel came on and stay on for awhile. It eventually turned off and after some research I thought I had that wiring harness issue that had a TSB out for it where the dash needed to be taken out and wiring harness replaced.
Well I had my sister's fiance come by with his OBD II SRS scanner and he found a code stored in the system but it wasn't for the TSB wiring harness issue I originally thought. This code was B1660 "Passenger seat airbag active mode indicator malfunction". I know on the OEM unit there is an indication for the passenger seat airbag that will say on or off depending if someone is sitting in it. Well my china unit only has the seat belt indicator, does anyone have a seat belt indicator and an airbag indicator?
And if anyone has access to an SRS scanner can you check for this same B1660 code store in your system? I checked the fly audio thread and it seems like it was a big issue for some but the only difference is their airbag light remained on all the time and mine turned off and hasn't come back on so far. Pretty strange!

Found some more info in that fly audio thread. Apparently this problem was corrected by fly audio sending their customers a new wiring harness for their unit's which made the airbag srs light go away. This was back in early 2012 so even though this may not be the same manufacturer of the fly audio unit perhaps they knew of the issue and corrected it before selling? Not too sure but hopefully my srs airbag light doesn't come back on.
