yes, I received my car like that but I only paid for the paint job. So I think I should check another place to fit it. But I'm not sure if it will mess up the paint job if someone try to fit it good ?

It looks as if they didnt remove the rear bumper and start from the middle and move out to the sides. Body shop doesnt know what they are doing

Is it sitting too low? Maybe it'll fill up more if you push the lip up (as in away from the ground).
I agree looks like its sitting to low.. And he need to cut around the exhaust for to sit flush..

Do cutting the bumper where's are the exhaust will help to fit the lip ? Cause when I look at it I don't see how it will help. I admit I don't know anything in body job but still hard to figure out it would help. I tough 06-08 owner with a 09+ TOM'S only cut their bumper for a better looking.

Here's a thread which mentions that there is a difference between the 06-08 and the 09-12 rear bumper:

no you need to cut it so that it will sit right since the lip was made for a quad set up and the opening is much larger then the opening on the stock bumper.

This.

There is a difference between the 06-08 and 09+ rear bumper. It's not that big of a difference, but I guess it does effect this lip? Since you already got it painted and everything, you'll just have to have the bodyshop work on making it fit. That or mold it on there

the tiny differences in the bumpers does not matter. if it did you would not be able to use the vertex/wald/ing +1 rear lip on the 09+. like i have stated before you need a bigger opening around the exhaust for the lip to fit better.

you need to cut away around the exhaust in order to fit. the instructions even mention this (yeah, I know it's in Japanese). if you don't cut the area, it won't fit properly.

the rear lip requires a precise fit. the diffuser portion with the 2 slots needs to line up with the rear under tray holes. that's why the exhaust area needs to be cut (otherwise, it won't look right because you'll see a portion of the original bumper under the rear lip. then you may need to shave the rear bumper corners a bit to accommodate the rear lip on the sides. if you still have your instructions, on the second page, the top and second pictures, there's an illustration which shows a black line (this is the cut line).

also, what happened to your weatherstripping? you should have received a black and gray one with the rear lip.
