Default Thoughts on vinyl wrapping the whole car

I got quoted $1600 to vinyl wrap my whole car to gloss black. I was planning on getting a gloss black paint job but I'm considering the vinyl wrap now. Guy said it takes 5 years for the vinyl to fade. Thoughts?

Seen it on some cars, $1600 is not bad at all. 5 years will depend on where you park the car

I got quoted here in NYC for 2500$ too much!

You got great deal dude, make sure it's a nano vinyl anti scratch.

I think its a better option than repainting your entire car. 1600 is a good price.

That's pretty cheap. Most quotes start at 3000. This is a good way to preserve the factory paint so you don't lose the resale value

not a bad price but why do a stock color? Do something original. UV has vinyl wrapped his car 4 times. This was his "Fighter Jet" themed matte grey.

$1,600 is a good price.

In case you are interested I did a quick estimate listing all the R+I's for every panel i.e. professional appraisal which came out to a whooping $3,500!

I have to agree with this. That matte grey looks really good too.

I dont like matte cause the paint looks so dull. I prefer something gloss.
