Calling ALL owners of 2011+ headlights w/LED who are running wether it be HID, LED, or Halogen YELLOW bulbs to PLEASE post pictures.


For those of you who would like to show off their lighting and help members at the same time, this might be a good thread.

I got an itch to run yellow fogs
I've seen some members with just bulbs, others with the yellow vynil, and even some with both. There are pictures but all scattered through out threads and almost impossible to find.

We want to see ALL set ups

I have 2012 with yellow overlays on the fogs, I'll get some pics after work.

Unrelated to how it looks, I will probably switch to black housings on the fogs and no overlay to better match my car

I bought the yellow overlays before, but ended up throwing them away since I decided to just paint my fog housings black to match my headlights

I have 3000k hids with an hid yellow capsule. (can't seem to find them for sale anymore, if you know where let me know)

The last pic in the thread has them a little more neon green until I change the slim ballast for the fat ballast, which made them more yellow. (pics above)

I still have the stock 4300k low beams on; lighting/camera's fault They actually match pretty well at night, but then again these are the 2011 headlights.

Interesting that you say the fat ballast makes them more yellow. I actually removed what I thought were obsolete and ancient fat ballast off my car last night, looks like theyll have a purpose after all.

Who is your HID kit from?

I don't have the LED lights but I did buy the yellow overlays from Rvinyl. I'm happy with them and they do make the output VERY yellow.

Only reason I posted 2011 owners is to see how people went about the setup seeing as the LED is a set color but would you mind posting a pic?

My friend has 3000k Putco Jet yellow bulbs and they are a very deep yellow. CARid has them for a good price too.
