Default Lights connected to battery wont turn off! Help if you can

Hey guys. So recently I got angel eyes ( I know most of you do not like it but it's my cup of tea ) and for some reason, my DRL's didnt work. My fuse was working and yes, my parking breaks were off. So I decided to just take the easy way out and connect them to my car's battery. It was working great for a few weeks until yesterday. When I turn off my car, the angels dim to a 50% or lower brightness, but still stays on. At first, I thought it was just gonna be like that for a little while. I waited for about 3 hours and it was still on. I turned on and off the car and it is still on. For now, I pulled the fuse thats connected with the wiring from the battery to the lights so they are off atm.
Does anyone have any idea what is going on? I thought that if your car is off, your battery is off. Why is my angels getting electricity from the battery when my car is off?
Thanks for any inputs guys.

Here's a quick picture in direct sunlight

I did get a FXR Bi Xenon retrofit, ill make a thread and share the lights with you as soon as I get these fixed :[
Thanks again

The battery is never off if regardless if your car is running or not, unless the battery is dead. How was it working for a few weeks and now all of a sudden it stays on? If it was directly connected to the battery it will be on and won't turn off. You probably have a relay harness and the relay is probably shot. That is not a direct battery connection.

instead of hooking it to your battery why tap into the IGN2. Thats how my LEDs on my 2012 lights are wired up so when I turn on the car it turns on automatically and when the car is off it turns off.

Is there a thread that shows how to tap into the IGN2? I am a real noob with this stuff.
Thanks again

Are you running these off a relay?
