Does my Lexus 2012 IS250 come with HID?
I just bought a 2010 and wanted to swap out the low beams with 8000K bulbs and 3000K bulbs for the low beams. Is this possible or do I need to buy the HID conversion KIT?

depends on which option you got lol
best bet is turn on both your low beams and fog lights, if they're same colour then no you don't have xenons
if low beams are whiter and fog lights yellower then yes you have xenons
your fogs are halogen for sure so if u want 3000k then u need a hid conversion kit
if your lows are already xenon then you only need to change bulb
i'm not sure about options for the 2012 but Sango could be right too

Its 2010*, I wanna have the low beams have a blueish tint and my fogs with a golden yellow. It would been a lot cheaper to just get the bulbs swapped out but now im going to have to buy the kit.

Hey guys
So I have read through this thread and was wondering if I could switch to HIDs without buying the kit. I have the 2012 base model and when I check both my low beam lights and fog lights, they appear to be the same color but when I looked closer (almost made me go blind after staring at them for so long), i realize that the low beam lights are brighter than the fog lights (fog lights are more yellow). Does that mean I can switch to HIDs without buying the entire kit? Thanks.
