does anyone else do late night cruises to relieve stress?

We don't get too many nice nights here in Seattle so I take advantage as often as I can to go out on a late night cruise. I work late anyhow so by the time I get off, the roads are mostly clear. Sometimes I crank up the tunes, other times I turn it off all together and just listen to the sounds of the exhaust and intake. As somebody mentioned earlier, the curvier the road, the better.

Totally feel what you are saying. I pick my gf up from work everynight at 11:30 And just take my time going through back roads. It's always so peaceful to be the only one on the road and to clear your mind

I barely ever do it anymore too because
1. Have to worry too much about pot holes i cant see at night ..
2. +1 on waste of gas
3. Cops in Vancouver have too much time on their hands that they pull you over for the most random things (especially at night.. and no i don't have anything considered illegal mods on or in the car..)

Does anyone else go out and take their ISx50 out for a late night stroll for like 20-30 minutes to relieve stress and reflect on stuff when you need time alone?
Something about the night air and the low amount of cars that makes you feel like you "own the road" just cruising slowly along to music, (sometimes without music just hearing the engine).
It's very satisfying to me that once i've had a bad day or something on my mind i take a cruise around the city, sometimes gunning it due to not many cars on the road. It's relieving, relaxing and creates a sense of calm.
Anyone else feel the same way because i just recently started doing this and find it really helpful to just get away and reflect.
Thanks

here in socal, there are too many danger at night.
1) Cops looking for someone to pull over
2) drunk driver****ting your car
3) getting stuck in traffic because of constructions or freeway closing down.
