Default Tried Searching [center console charging port]

Well I tried searching for the answer and I know I've seen it before, but my mind is throwing blanks. I really need a fix for that stupid placement of the car charging port in the center console and remember seeing a thread on it, but the links for parts were dead. Anyone have a fix for this if so please share!

Thanks, but I'm talking about the port inside the center console. The one that if you plug anything into it that it won't close

So you are looking to extend the connection? Easiest way would be to purchase the cable that works for your device and then drill a hole in the bottom of the console and route the cable out between the carpet and the console. Next "easiest" requires the removal of quite a few parts. PM me if you want some instructions.

I leave an iPod connected in the center console and use bluetooth to connect my phone to the head unit.

good luck

I use this...
http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewi...assified=false
It sits flush so when you plug something in, you're still able to close the center consol.

EXACTLY what I'm looking for! So even with the USB plugged in, the center console closes right?

Yep! I even have one that has the 2 USB slots, works great for multiple devices hidden away in the center consol.

I'm thinking about getting a single and using a usb hub to connect multiple devices. wonder if this would work instead and does it charge up the electronics pretty quick?

Exactly the same one I have. Bluetooth Music Gateway plugged into one slot and cord to charge my phone in the other (although I almost never use it.)
